Lisa Monteith

Lisa has a Diploma in Sport Fitness and Education which she attained in 2006.

Lisa has experience in Netball playing in all grades from the age of 10 to 20 (10 years).

Lisa has experience in OzTag football playing in 2005, 2006, 2010, 2011.

Ian Monteith (Monty)

Ian Monteith

Monty has experience in Rugby League playing through all grades from the ages of 8 to 19
(11 years).
Monty has experience in Rugby playing for the Kelston Boys High School 1st XV in 1986, 1987
(2 years).
Monty gained representative Honours in KiwiTag (Similar to OzTag) playing for the New Zealand Men’s Over 40’s squad in 2005 and 2006 (2 years).

Coaching

Lisa and Monty have 3 children Mitchell (21), Kori (19) and Ellex (18).

Lisa coached Ellex’s Netball Team in their first year of competition while at Primary School.

Monty was involved in coaching both Mitchell and Kori in their first years of playing Rugby League for the Glenora Rugby League Football club.

Personal Experience

Our own background and experience in sport, prior to becoming parents and then as parents with 3 children has made for a natural progression into the business. We have led an active and healthy lifestyle and all of our family have been involved in sports. We are able to transfer our knowledge as player, coach, manager, club member to our Smallsports business. We have the drive, passion and enthusiasm to deliver this highly successful programme in our community, with the knowledge the benefits gained through children participating in the programme, will give them the confidence, and motor skills to pursue an active lifestyle. New found skills will assist positive interaction within their own family.
