Celebrate the season – yes its definitely  party & presentation time of year. Its really very heartwarming to see so many little ones excitedly practising songs and dancing to show their parents, talking about school next year or how they’ve had their birthday and now they’re a year older.
Celebrate achievement – let’s take notice and really praise and encourage our little ones on specific achievements, whether its saying thankyou, tying a shoelace, or being kind to a friend.
Celebrate the holidays – yes its nearly Christmas, and its definitely already summer!! Let’s make the most of whatever holidays or change of pace our work commitments allow, and really savour time with those we love.
Celebrate new opportunities – even though they may come dressed as hard work!! Take the time to look forward to a new year, new school, new uniform, new friends, new job or maybe a new outlook in the current circumstances. Make the effort to lay aside the pressure long enough to be excited for great new moments in store.
Oprah Winfrey has great advice for us to follow: “The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.”
In short, celebrate!!
